  1. 01

    Request a trial code

    Call +1 (832) 786-3388 or email software@uppf-usa.com and ask for a trial code. No card details are needed to start the 14 days.

  2. 02

    Turn antivirus off

    Antivirus software commonly blocks the installer. Turn it off for the install, then turn it straight back on afterwards.

  3. 03

    Run as administrator

    Right click the installer and choose Run as administrator so the plotter drivers and licence components install correctly.

  4. 04

    Install the C++ Redistributable

    If prompted, install the Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable. It is a standard Windows component that some workstations are missing.

  5. 05

    Register the account

    Enter your trial code or licence key. One account is valid for one PC at a time. Contact support to transfer a licence to a new machine.

  6. 06

    Connect and calibrate

    Connect your plotter, run Plotter Setup, then cut the calibration square before your first real job.

Graphtec owners

Set COMMAND to Auto in the plotter interface menu before your first cut. It is the single most common cause of a first day support call, and it takes ten seconds to fix.
